Location: Academy Street between Elkwood Ave. and Springfield Ave. Cars to enter from Elkwood Ave. entrance – follow signs from Springfield Ave. to Elkwood Ave. Directions from Route 78 West: Exit 42, take Union Ave. to end, make right on Springfield Ave. Approx. one mile to center of town.

CSA was founded in 1954 by a group of concerned citizens. The primary focus is to offer financial assistance to New Providence residents in their time of need.
The CSA caseworker works with prospective "clients". Each client is assigned a number by the case worker, thus assuring complete anonymity before the client's case is presented to the volunteer board. Each case is acted upon promptly.

- Transportation
- Rent
- Food
- Clothing
CSA is a non-profit organization chartered in the State of New Jersey.
CSA is funded through the United Way, individual donations, and an annual fundraiser. Donations to the United Way can be designated for CSA.
